About Us
Gel Systems was formed in 1981 by a team of dedicated professionals from both the food and pet food industries. Their experience covers all aspects of technology, product development, purchasing and manufacturing.
In 2000 we commissioned a plant in Malaysia, which now produces in excess of 1,100 tonnes of carrageenan per annum. For the future we are seeking to expand the capacity of the plant and to develop additional grades of carrageenan.
In 2004, we opened our own manufacturing site in Riccall, North Yorkshire. This enables us to provide our customer with tailor-made blends for a variety of products
